VFW Post 9871 welcomes all who meet the VFW eligibility criteria. It’s through service to this country that all our membership has earned their elite status. If you have received a campaign medal for overseas service; have served 30 consecutive or 60 non-consecutive days in Korea; or have ever received hostile fire or imminent danger pay, then you’re eligible to join our ranks.
Beginning February 14th the VFW will again have our breakfast buffet available the second Sunday of the month. For the present it will only be once a month. The prices are adults $9.00, seniors $8.00 and children under 12 years $5.00. So come and enjoy.
The kitchen is open on Thursday and Fridays only from 4 to8pm. Menu is posted in the Canteen with special dinners on Thursday. Please support the kitchen we have an excellent chef, come and meet Michele Maximova.
This years National Convention will be held Kansas City, MO July 31st thru August 5th. All information is on the National website www.vfw.org.
Ohio Day at the National Home is August 21st. If you have never been to the Home it is an experience you will never forget. If you are planning to come up early there is a Golf outing on Friday and a hospitality room that night, hotel information is on the Department website or contact Jim Hordinski.

Most of Covid19 restrictions are no longer in place but if you feel safer by waring a mask please feel free to do so.The Department Convention will be held from June 17th thru the 20th at Kalahari Resort in Sandusky.
